I sharkscoped this guy because I thought I recognized his avatar. No sooner did I find this graph than he pushed K5o on a missed flop in level 1.

That's cool. I can accept that a lot more than telling me I must be a massively losing player to have a swing like this. I really don't think I am.

I'll shut up about it now and try to regroup. I just felt the need to show that chart. I know you guys are sick of hearing about my swings. This is just something unprecedented and I'm trying to figure out where to go from here.

I think probably poker isn't for me. I just hate to give up and admit defeat. I want to go out on top.

Suzzer, I've hit a similar situation. Might be worth re-reading Gigabet's post on success and failure. My reaction has been to study harder to be a better player; move down in limits, and at the moment I'm mainly 1/2 tabling to try to fix the leaks which I may have developed. You just have to have confidence that the game is beatable and that you are clever and diligent enough to do it.

The sample size is just for Stars so it's not huge, but I know how you feel. My MTTs have been crap too, the only thing sustaining me is ring games. I'm sure you will pull out of it, as I will. Just gotta work hard.

Lol that dudes graph isn't varience. Suzzer yours could easily be [censored] luck. Dropping 50 BI in almost as many games is a good indication that the world hates you (provided you aren't on monkey tilt). The games are certainly getting tougher. I was drooling when I 1st made the switch as I saw [censored] like this all the time.

LEVEL VII (100/200) - 2006/10/26
Seat 1: RaiNKhAN (1695 in chips)
Seat 2: (1265 in chips)
Seat 3: Shillx (625 in chips)
Seat 5: (2985 in chips)
Seat 9: XXX (6930 in chips)
RaiNKhAN: posts the ante 25
XXX: posts the ante 25
XXX: posts small blind 100
RaiNKhAN: posts big blind 200
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Shillx [4c Jh]
3 folds
XXX: raises 6705 to 6905 and is all-in
RaiNKhAN: calls 1470 and is all-in

He had A2o. Not even in the ballpark and this isn't a one time misclick or anything. Heavy hitters were playing like complete donkeys. Not really the case anymore.
