BTW does anyone else think that the eating beaver in those insomnia commercials are hilarious. It makes those old Cialis commercials where the guy just cant qute throw the football through the tire pail in comparison.

Well, Abraham Lincoln, I know you miss playing chess with me but.... Eating beaver I miss you the most!

Can I get some advice on this hand, I am most likely gonna be posting a decent amount of them today.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (4 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Button ($38.40)
SB ($20.40)
Hero ($158.05)
UTG ($187.50)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $4, Button calls $4, 1 fold, Hero raises to $13, UTG calls $9, Button calls $9.

Flop: ($39.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $30, Button folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $69.50

Al,

if you're going to reraise out of the blidns preflop, at least reraise a real amount.

Ok I would guess the standard re-raise here with only 1 pre-flop raiser is about 13$ish

but with a pre-flop raiser and a cold caller, I am guessing what like 16~isn?

Or should I tend to make it more out of the blinds?

al,

learn to count the pot asap. make all your reraises at least pot sized.

generally reraise more when you reraise out of the blinds because you will be oop the whole hand and that is a large disadvantage (even against bad opponents).

if this goes against what your coach is telling you to do, listen to him, not me. but discuss it with him.

I actually do make pot sized re raises on the flop, but I didn't realize I was supposed to do that pf as well.
