There's no "maybe" for the polio vaccine; just ask anyone who lived before it was introduced. I don't disagree with your premise, however - I don't see much benefit (and possibly some problems related to the length of protection) with the chicken pox vaccine, but I'm not an MD or epidemiologist and could well be wrong here.
