Default $16: K9s lowstack push? 5plr

Hello 2+2er,

my performance on the 16$ buyin runs horrible.
In the last 8 Tournaments i finished 4 times as 5th and 4 times as 4th. Worst case.
When i play tight i'm a big lowstack at the bubble so i try to maintain my stack through all stages by stealing some blinds. Was this hand a good oppertunity?

You still have 7BBs and can wait for a better hand, imo.

I push if there were antes

(I haven't checked with SnG wiz)

Against blinds is a good hand , push here .
No matter what happened in 10 sits played . You can play another 10 sits and have a very different results .
Play a lot more and see the results every 50 sits ( play with a bigger bankroll) . If it is negative on 3 o 4 sample size or there is a common mistake , try to fix it .
A question : What was yours results on 6.50 ?

I never played the 6.5 because i had the bankroll to play the $16 and the fee is smaller compared to the buyin. I came from PartyPoker where i played a lot of cashgames and make a bankroll over 2k. With some cash left at party from a friend invitation i start playing sngs there and made $300 playing the $10 (dont know exactly what the buyin was). At PokerStars i play the 2/4$ cashgames and added the sngs to play i wider range of poker variants. I started with a ROI over 20% over the first 200 sngs at $16, while the next 150 running bad. Now at 350 i'm down to 6% ROI. Not a big problem if this ROI was constant over the time. OK ok i know what you will say "Samplesize by far to low" Yes you're right, but its not so funny for my psyche. When i start playing sngs i had an natural approach. Playing tight, doubling up, survive the bubble and try to trap them or win by pure pressure HU. When i start to learn more about sngs here, i start to play different. Steal a lot more and play even tighter in the early levels. Now i run really bad at the bubble. I think this is normal with many things in live. When you want to change and improve something you often make more mistakes at the beginning. I try to learn ... please continue to help me.

Looking at all your posts from today, I'm going to go out on the limp and suggest you don't push nearly enough. You've already been told this, but you need to purchase a SNGPT like program.

Ok thx for the responses. I will get SNGPT this week.

My main problem is, that i lost all these hands. When you do something wrong and win and change your play doing the right thing and loose, you need someone to confirm that your'e on the right path.
