I normally play about eight tables when i have time, so normally, i just sit and click while the computer goes Beep beep beep beep beep.
Buut i noticed something of late. The roof to my place it getting repaired, so the sounds of BANG BANG BANG really started throwing me off my game...so i threw on a pair of earphones and turned it up real loud. Now...the beeping stops, which means i don't rush my decision just because the next table goes, and i figured out the music keeps me mellow. The problem is, my music selection is very limited right now (My CDs have gone missing) so i need to get some good music. Anyone have any good suggestions? What people are calling classic rock and anything blues/Jazz suggestions would be great. If you have something else that works, i'd love to try. Also, if you don't listen to music and just let your computer beep away, give it a try, but make sure you get used to not having the little "warning beeps" if you need them. |

I am always listening to corinne bailey ray (not sure if I spelled that right) cd, very mellow and awesome music. Gets me relaxed and I play my A-game way more often...

Well, that's the point. As soon as I calm down I switch to something new, or nothing at all.

Get Winger - "Pull". No joke...it's awesome. Not what you'd call classic rock, but more prog/metal with an edge.
I promise you will play more aggressively after listening to "Junkyard Dog". |

Go to pandora.com and put in whatever you like. The site builds a radio station out of whatever music you put into it.
I'm more of a darkwave/industrial weird all over the place type of music lover. But my pandora station for playing poker is usually tiesto or mindless self indulgence... |
