notes on villain: valuebet set on 4flush board when ck to on river. limp A7s utg ck K x y flop vs bb who checked, checked turn with bdfd. raise K9o in CO ck rag flop. Didnt donk bluff river after stealer checked turn with a missed draw with no showdown value.
5 handed hero raises AhQh in CO, bb calls flop KdQc2c bb checks, hero bets, bb raises, hero... how often are u folding a non club rag turn, how about a nonclub J or T? if ur calling down is there another line u should take besides call call call. if u call the turn are u calling any river or are u folding say the 9 of clubs? |

I'm only folding if like the Tc and then the 9c fall. So basically never. And I'm pretty much just calling down all the time.

I would 3 bet the flop, bet the turn and, depending on the board, maybe value bet the river. Your PF raise could have been a steal for all he knows. A average player could CR the flop with a lot of hands you beat; a worse Q, JT, flush draw, pocket pair, maybe AJ or AT or maybe just air.

Villain being weak read is bad thing because of the whole ch/r thing on the flop. Even so, I'd need to see a showdown here.. cheapest way would be 3bet, bet, ch UI..

Well it doesn't lose the least against a K unless the guy puts more bets in with a K. Meaning he would either have to cap the flop and lead the turn or call the flop 3-bet and check raise the turn. In general I think people just call down with KJ or KT on this board so you actually lose less when you 3-bet the flop (also not true if he donks the river).
Still doesn't make me like 3-betting very much. |
