I want to start threads too / suggestions thread

Honestly, I think it is clear that this is a shot at the lounge. I don't really care, as I'd be happy to see it replace the lounge.

But until that happens, thanks to forum division I need to check OOT, ElD, the Lounge, Video Games, and Sports to see every non-poker topic I'm interested in. I really think that this is getting out of control.

Well......I look at it in an entirely different way.

It now gives me two Forums to review.

If a subject sparks my interest in either forum, I will respond.

I do not view having to migrate from Forum to Forum as some sort of a task that I am obligated to complete.

If it turns out that the founding of this Forum was born out of the idea of 'taking a shot' at the Lounge, then shame on El D...

How about an "artsy" movie thread for the masses? I find that there are two types of movie threads on 2+2:

1. Movies I have never heard of, and unlikely to even be at my video store.

2. Movies that are beaten to death (Shawshank, Lebowski, Princess Bride etc....)

I am thinking a movie thread that would present movies that have been in wide release, are readily available at the video store, and that people may recognize the name, if not the movie itself. Examples may include pre-oscar nomination Little Miss Sunshine, Akeela and the Bee, Grave of the Fireflies, Killing Zoe, the 25th hour, etc...
