Have any U.S. customers had their accounts locked because of this? Seems strange to me that they'd only lock the accounts of non-U.S. customers.

Mine and my wife's accounts are still open as of 5 minutes ago. But with zero balances, thanks to 4thstreetpete's help yesterday.

This whole situation truly sucks. You guys were doing everything you could to help out us poker players who are stuck in the land of the free. Now it looks like you end up getting it right up the same orifice that Georgie Boy and his cronies have been giving it to us for the past 6 years. At least we Americans have had time to apply plenty of lube.

isnt is possible that those who have their accounts closed are gonna just have to ring in, answer a few security questions, confirm they're not laundering money for Osama's henchmen, have their account re-opened and carry on as they were?

perhaps wishful thinking but i cannot see anything in their T&Cs prohibiting this from either end.

[/ QUOTE ]

now that I think about it, I remember neteller closed my account once and asked me to call them. I called them and they said it was random routine and that I only have to do it once. They just want to make sure that it is you and doing a random security check. Obviously what's happen in the last few days are not ordinary occurences but when I talked to them last year when this happened they jus asked me some questions about identity and that was it. I asked her what this was about and she said it was a routine they do and it was only one time. Opened my account right away.

[/ QUOTE ]

another possible link...

have those who have had their account closed tonight ever received this phone call?

when i first opened my account, i got a call from CS to answer a few security questions which i assumed was standard - my account has not been closed...yet

hey BigBluffer, I feel really good that I was able to help you get your money out on time (good timing too , one more day and it'll be too late).
I'm canadian and I've been totally disgusted with what's happening with neteller. It didn't look like there were any planning in place when the inevitable happened once the ban took place with the US. They should've been a little more prepared to handle the fallout.

In any case my neteller account is still open, I hope it stays that way.

I think Neteller is in such legal problems that they are just covering their own asses about the whole transfer situation. Again, like WhatDoesCAllMean said, once the money is in your account, as a Non US customer, you are FREE to do with your money whatever you want to do. Wish we had the same freedoms you guys do!!

guys, I'm doing 2 transfers right now. One has been 6 hrs and the other maybe 5hrs and neither have gone thru. Has anyone had any delays longer than this? I'm a little worried and it's not even my money.
