Hello Michael,

Thanks for your email.

Yes that will be fine, we are aware of the problems with US players and there NETeller accounts, so if you want to deposit the funds and transfer to your friends account who is based in the USA, then that transfer will be processed as normal.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Regards,

Neal

Subject: Security question about helping US players

>Dear pokerstars,
>
>I'm Michael van Beek from the netherlands and I would like to help a friend from the US. As you probably know, people from the US have money stuck on neteller and can't deposit it into pokerstars. Now a friend of mine asked to make a peer 2 peer transfer to my netelller and I deposit it
into stars. Then I transfer the money from my account to his account so he can play poker.

You still need to do cover play if the amount is anywhere near significant IMO.

Has anyone bothered to even ask Neteller to waive the 1.9% fee? Considering the circumstances, it seems like that would be the decent thing to do. Not only are they losing U.S. customers, but unless they can salvage their reputation, I can't see any customers wanting to do business with them after this mess.

Well, I don't want to get banned on stars for doing this, so that's why I was asking. Already saw Green Devil asking this so wanted to make sure it's allowed. Just did a transfer for dekk, so if anyone needs help, msg me on msn ([email protected]). I only charge 3%, minimum 100bux. 8.5k left to tranfer.

Not happening. You can pay the fee and get your $$, or you can not get your $$. They have no incentive to waive the fee for you. Worth a shot I guess, dont get your hopes up though.
