Default How much would you pay to enter a live tourney?

I have entered many tournaments over the years and usually found the higher the limit the better the player. However I find many new players entering $300 or £200 entry NL tournaments. What is the average that players feel comfortable paying

You say "live" tournaments in your subject, so I assume you mean B&M. In my experience, most low $ tournaments have pretty bad structures... and these are still $50-$100 buy ins. So you probably need to feel comfortable paying $200-$300 if you're going to do this on a regular basis. (And many people who are doing this on "a regular basis" may only be entering one or two a month.)

Online is a completely different story, of course.
