Default Taking a month off after this

I'm running ok but getting sick of poker, so maybe I needed this to happen.

Live $2/5 NL game. Effective stacks ~$320.

3 limpers, SB completes, I have 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in BB.

$25 pot, flop:

K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I lead for $20, EP calls, goofball in MP min raises to $40, SB calls, I make it $160, folded to SB, who calls ( which tells you all you need to know about what kind of player he is).

pot ~$400.

Turn 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB checks, I put him in for his last $160 or so, he insta-calls, and I assume he's looking for a [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]...

river comes

2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He excitedly slams down

A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

And as the table howls he begins swearing that the only reason he called was " I heard a voice right behind me telling me a 2 was coming."

Proceeds to walk over and shake my hand.....

Not the worst beat ever, but possibly the dumbest. All that was lacking was a slow roll.

I racked up and left, I have zero tolerance right now, I kinda hated poker BEFORE that hand.

I definitely consider taking off a lot longer than a month.

So you had a .6 buyin downswing and now you're taking a month off?

Have you considered that poker may not be your calling in life?
