yay - Matrix is almusto (large withdrawl required due to reallife beat)

roll is now an almighty $72.

so should I start rebuilding at $5NL or play under rolled at $10NL

decisions decisions...

I'm sad to hear that. I had a similar thing happening to me a while ago. Started over with a $50 deposit. Played 10NL untill I hit 160ish, then moved to 20NL. 7 weeks after the deposit I'm up to some 800 and taking shots to 50NL.

So I'd say go with the 10's untill you're confident with 20/25. If I recall, you've played 100/50NL? anything under 50 will be free money for you. Just get in as many hands as possible and try to find a table with many big stacks, they'll stack off 100bb with tpwk all day.

Matrix,

I played about 15k hands at 10nl back when I had no idea what I was doing and ran at over 16pt/100 for all of those hands. Just nit it up and you will be fine.

ps. report on nature of life beat?

Anyone here who plays on party, and how much softer are the games compared to full tilt/ultimate bet, in particular the 50nl/100nl games, can I just nit it up in those?

nice work - I don't plan on it taking 7 weeks tho.

Yesterday started at $10NL - made a few buys - used them to play 2x $11 SnG's finished 3rd in one and 4th in the other while only ever winning about 3 showdowns between the 2.

Took a tilty shot at $25NL (1 tabling - maximum concentration/focus/table selection) got a ~200BB stack all in vs a donk on the turn with middle set - got stacked by top set

total for the day -$36 (about half the roll)

bah - I played so well and still got my ass handed to me by assorted luckboxes, ho hum

Anyhow these days I find $10NL is like free money, when I first started playing I found even $10NL really tough to beat - so it's good to see how far I have come.

I shall keep up with the $10NL (on a 4 buyin roll - eek) and keep using my winnings to fund shots at SnG's higher limits until I am properly rolled for $25's then hopefully I can start recovering a lot faster...

ama:

Basically I've had about theworst January in recent history, I was supposed to move house on the 4th, owing to various [censored] ups by my ex-estate agent 2 seperate houses fell through costing a nice lump of fees each time - then got nicked for driving without car insurance (obv I never intended to, I just forgot to renew it in time) had my car seized which cost another lump of money, throw in another coupleo f unexpected expenses and blam the monies I had set aside for house moving purposes have evaporated.

Fortunately my poker roll more than covers the shortfall so for the time being I get to withdraw everything as I finally got approval from a new estate agent to move on Friday (I *have* to move by 31st this month or I'm homeless)

I'm fairly sure as well that I am going to be offline for about a month for added bonus after I move.

meh - it'll work out and when I get back I have had enough of this running bad malarkey - time to run good for a change. I am determined to not have to deposit again tho.

I haven't played the NL 50 game on party yet. Only up to NL 25. I do however have a friend who plays party 50 NL and 100 NL and after I clear my bonus on FTP, I am most likely switching back to party. He says the people he plays against must not like their money.
I'd say it is definetly worth playing on party not only cause the games are good, but because the software is too. Traffic on the 50NL 6max tables is also decent. The software is relatively fast and has resizeable tables. Furthermore I think the customer support is less complicated than on UB and FTP. UB has been messing me around a lot lately. Took me 1 week before they let me start playing. There was a problem with the affiliate that I signed up with so I decided to cash out and go and play at FTP. Now they are basically holding back my bank roll (since 5 days or so) and say they are reviewing my case to protect me from fraud. I don't see why they should do this however, considering that I am cashing out to Neteller with the exact same details as my account with them. They sent me a mail saying that it is supsicious that I only played so little hands (I think 5kish). They are just being really complicated, depriving me of playing time.
All in all I think the games on party are less aggro than on UB and FTP. More loose passive fish.
My win rate has takenv a hit now that I started out on FTP and UB because I need to adjust to the aggro, it is good for my game though, so I am fine with cutting back a little bit on my winrate if I can improve my game.

@ matrix

If you are planning not to deposit again I would consider tighter BR management. Playing with 4 BI is nothing basically. You could easily lose your BR through a few beats. I suggest playing NL 5 till you have 100 $.
May be tough for a NL 100 player (in terms of playing so low), but think about 4 BI's, that isn't much.
