I'm honestly surprised no one has responded to this.

Also, incase you didnt know - epassporte is labled as 'high risk' by many banks already thanks to its induction into adult websites a few years ago. I was around when epass first came out and it was basically for gaining access to adult sites.

I have used epassporte for several years now to move money into and out of poker rooms. I have NEVER had a single problem with them.

Well adult sites are notorious with banks for charge backs. When the whole visa/mastercard thing went down a couple years back every adult site had to pay a 750.00 merchant fee and they were still labled as 'high risk' and were only allowed a TINY margin of chargebacks before their rights to accept the cards was revoked.

Paypal also stopped proccessing for adult sites and thats when epassporte came into the picture.

The fact that your bank is likely to already view the company as high risk is all I was referring to (meaning some banks will need you to verify the transaction and/or decline it completely). I have no idea bout those miscellanous charges that are referred to in the pocketfives thread. I just want to help bring as much information out as possible for everyone. Like I want others to do for me.

I've had an Epassporte account for 2 years now and haven't personally had any problems, haven't really used it too much.

My roommate has only used epassporte and has been with them for almost 3 years.

He doesn't have a bank account so he is forced to only use the atm card. He has never liked epassporte and he did have a problem at one point when his funds were locked for 2 weeks or so because they said he withdrew too much into his account.

I guess we will all see how it goes down

I do hate the fees and I do hate the fact they only let you withdraw $600 per day after you get upgraded to a "select" account.
