I think he was more concerned about where the credit was coming from (read: Matusow) who, as Gabe mentioned, was probably staked himself. Matusow telling someone he will lend them 50 dimes really doesn't have any validity.

Did you notice how long the camera followed that chick? By far the best looking one they have had on the series. The waitresses at South Point are hot but nothing close to the models (escorts? Former Miss Nevadas?) they pick for this show.

I'm watching it right now and Mike just talked about that pot he lost against 2+2's CTS where he had Quads and lost to a SF. I find that kinda cool cause I actually got to see that hand history.

Mike has excellent credit with these guys. I've seen and heard Daniel, Ted Forrest, Phil Ivey and Jennifer Harman all talk about loaning him money with no problems. Daniel has said several times that Mike is one of the safest poker players to loan money to.
