Also, this isn't quite the same thing as getting laid off from a job,

[/ QUOTE ]

It is just like getting laid off from a job, except you can't get unemployment.

Getting laid off and getting fired are two different things.

He even went as far as to say that we brought this on ourselves. Give me a break.

The party was going to be over sooner or later no matter what you did. Cheating dataminers and idiots who gave free instructions on how to HUD-bot were already ruining the game. Armies of selfish 12 tabling losers slowed down the games, in return for making a pittance above the rake, and took the fun out of it for recreational players and the skill out of it for good players. The whole UIGEA debacle just swiftened online poker's demise.

Remind me to laugh in his face when his source of income is taken away from him.

Seems I heard this same over-the-top wailing and gnashing of teeth when Party removed itself from the market.

Markets change, Things change, but the fish are still fish.

A good poker player learns to adapt. Change gears. If you always play the same hand the same way, people catch on and you will no longer be a winning player. These changes in online poker are just part of the meta-game.

Being a long time advantage player, I have seen many good things come and go. I am always open to the next +EV situation. Maybe it will be even better live play, maybe it will be some game that hasn't been invented yet.

Things will work out, the fish NEED someone to take their money.

It's completely different. HUD bots are leeches on society who produce no wealth. Nor do they provide enjoyment or entertainment in return for the money they take. They do nothing useful, while still consuming actual stuff that actual people go to work each day to build/package/write/cook/grow/deliver. Those of you who have chosen greed over work or study don't deserve anyone's pity or sympathy.

I don't know if it's been mentioned or not, but there are plenty of beatable american players, not to mention the rest of the world. Sure the games are tighter, but we adjust and move on.

Sorry to hear that you are leaving the online poker scene. Good luck in your future endeavours.

Almost every post you make is bitching about tight online multitablers and how it's not fun to play online because of them. But seriously what do you expect? Do you expect them to intentionally play badly? Do you blame them for trying to maximize their hourly rate?

To be 100% honest they don't give a damn whether or not you're having fun playing, they just want your money.

Sure this might not be 100% best for long term sustainability of online poker, but nobody thinks like that.

Also you are not a "pure" fish, you know of 2+2, know of poker literature and software, etc. The majority of true 100% fish do not.

Have a nice shark eat shark day.

I'd imagine it'll be more like a shark eat shark month. Then online poker for Americans dries up and blows away.

Tufffish has ammitted that he is a loser in poker
Most layers delude themselves into thinking they are winners
Every single thing in this post is 100% accurate whether you want to adnit it or not

For years we have all laughed at the fish- after doanting for a while there is no reason he shouldnt be laughing at us

I have made a ton of money from poker and now play 5/10 NL
I never thought I was that good , just that many players were horrednous. The games have become a lot tighter and i always played at sites with no 15 tablers with HUDS. Playing
at a table with 8 people like that is no fun and is a waste of time. He is absolutely right about that.

I am not knocking anyone who played a bunch of tabels with HUDS- we all want to make the most money possible. But they
sure as hell make the games dry up a lot faster and frustrate the fish (and winning players- we all wish that we were the only ones who had access to that type of software imaging how easy the games would be then)
