Default Moving up

So I am going to move up (take a shot) to NL100, 6max. I have 1200$ and I thought it could be worth a shot. Is there anything I should think about? Differences from NL50?

If I lose 2 buyins I am going down to 50NL again.

PS I play at PRiMA.

12 buy ins is not enough to play six max.

the differences at party at least are huge, I think you can expect to lose 2-3 buyins just because of the learning curve. So I don't think you're giving yourself much of a chance for success with that role.

I was thinking about following fimbulwinters advice from his reply to the moving up from 25 NL thread, where he writes you should have 1200+ to take a shot at NL100, but maybe I should build a gigger bankroll before taking a shot, no? advice needed.

I think it's fine if you're willing to move down after loosing a couple of buyins. I have done this a couple of times. If variance smiles on you then stay up.

But that isn't all that Fim said. When contemplating a move up to NL100, Fim said you should:

[ QUOTE ]
100NL when:

- you're confident playing draws
- you can spot good semibluff opportunities
- you can lay down AA/KK unimproved
- you're attacking the blinds in easy steal situations
- you have 1200+

[/ QUOTE ]

If you are doing all of these, then you are ready (according to Fim). But with $1200, it won't take much to push you back down.
