Random observation:
One of the things that I truly enjoy watching when I sweat a good player is the anger that they generate from other players... I see it with Shaundeeb, and I'm seeing it wtih Nate... It's usually towards the end of the tourney, when they get into pushbot mode. Other players have fits of rage at how it's possible for a bad player to be winning the tourney. The best part for me is when a flip is lost (by the good player) and the donkey starts to get high and mighty about how much they suck at poker. They never seem to realize that the good player can AFFORD to lose the flips, as they have built up such a nice stack when everybody's folded. The other part of this process that I have been most impressed with is Nate's class in dealing with these players. It's nice to see somebody say "gg" at the end of their matches - no matter how it ends, no matter who may have won or lost. And the genuine "NH" when somebody else wins... Classy. |

I've never played this many hours online this many days in a row. This session is only 4.5 hours old, so I'm still pretty fresh, but I don't think I'll be as sharp at hour 10 as I would usually be. Side note: the $3 stud-8 tournament is more just a matter of pride -- hardly any significant prizes except at the very top -- but I'm 5/19. 16 pay, $90 for first. --Nate |

Umm... less stuff about how great nate is and more antisweat please.
If nate loses, I promise to donate the $300 to help the cat in DJSensei's avatar overcome a disease that's currently taking away its fluffiness at an alarming rate. |

You're out of luck Noah. All us pissant-lurker-wannabes will be rooting for Nate because we're really hoping that we'll all figure out how to turn $5 into $1000 in a week.
Or a month. Go Nate. FTW! |

[/ QUOTE ] The secret is to spend countless hours figuring out how to play every game possible so that you can beat whatever low stakes games are most profitable and run most often. Not many people have put in the time to learn games like NLO8 like Nate has. |
