My dad was telling me something about this yesterday when we went to lunch. He went to the Titans games here in Nashville when the Pats came to town and almost got in a fight. The Pats fans were a father and a son watching the game with their mom/wife saying things along the lines of suck our red, white and blue [censored] ect in front of the mother/wife and an older couple and my dad and his friends he was with. My dad finally had heard enough and confronted them and the mom/wife settled things down from what my dad told me.

So after seeing some of the things in this thread, what I heard from my dad and how the Pats handled themselves in SD, I think everyone from NE are douche bags. I hope Indy stomps them this weekend and I dont like the Colts either.

look, people from anywhere can be obnoxious. the general sentiment around NE last week was PRAYING that the SB matchup wasn't Eagles/Pats, b.c the Eagles fans were such fight starting drunken douchebags 2 years ago.

I went to the SD/Pats game last year, and I saw numerous Chargers fans (from cool, laid back Southern Cal!!) get tossed for being obnoxious, spilling beers, starting fights, etc.

if you are going to use a sample size of ONE family to make a judgment on an entire fan base, well you are going to come up with some pretty wrong conclusions.

are Pats fans obnoxious? My guess is that we are roughly as obnoxious as Yankees fans were when they were winning, or Bulls fans w/ Jordan, or Cowboys fans in the 90's, etc.

I know you are a Pats fan and you may be one of the loyal, nice and awesome fans but your fan base and players reflect the entire city and team. It'd be the same way if I was a Chiefs fan and the Pats came to KC and I was telling everyone there thats a Pats fan there to suck my big red [censored] ect. or better yet imagine me doing it in NE.

Its like every team that wins. It's called bandwagon fans. Just like the Steelers last year. No offense to any Pats or Steelers fans though.
