[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I'm very upset with my play overall today. I made a lot of bad calls and plays and got very lucky. Shaniac, you played your hand very strangely and you got me, the calling station, to pay you off. Sorry it was you. They reported a TON of hands incorrectly. I think I'll play well tomorrow. We're playing down to 7 people from 14, so it'll be a short day. I'm doing an interview for FSN tomorrow after the play concludes. [/ QUOTE ] Best of luck, Jimmy. I'm obviously heartbroken, but it's business, not personal. However, I really wish you would refrain from saying "Yes! Ship it" and those types of things when you win a pot, especially when you suck out, since it is sort of hurtful to the person who lost the pot and doesn't mesh well with your character, either. Sorry for the flame (I kinda hope you don't even read this until after the tournament--ignore the hype and all, in any case), but I do mean best of luck--you're obviously in the zone, so stay in it. [/ QUOTE ] I kinda agree with that. All the kids who yelled when they sucked out in the PCA kinda pissed me off. I sucked out on 3 huge pots in the first day, went over to the guy I busted, shook his hand and that's it. Never said a word. Maybe it's a different in style, but I find it somehow more respectful. Either way, WHEEEEEEEEEE! LET'S WIN THIS! ONE (MORE) TIME DEALER! [/ QUOTE ] This actually kinda makes sense at PCA. Obv, I wasn't there, but a lot of the coverage mentioned how it was the first live play for a lot of peeps, who built their BRs kicking butt online, or satelliting their way in, etc. Assuming, arguendo, that that statement is true, a lot of that play was by one's self in private, where "SHIP IT!!!" goes unheard by others, and the player doesn't reflect any lack of tact, and more so than no one truly knows when they yell out various tilt profanities after going busto...
