I don't mean to bring (too muhc) strategy in here, but that doesn't look like that terrible a push against many players.

K8o would surely have to be outside many calling ranges...

He's played a ton with the hippo. It's a pretty bad push against a good player you have lots of history with.

Have any of you ever tried listening to a book-on-CD or something like that while playing?

When I had a mindless job, I used to keep myself sane by listening to books on audio (audible.com rocks). I had to stop once I had a job that required actual thought, I couldn't keep up with what I was listening too. My guess is that its the same with poker. You'll be listening along folding, folding, folding, and then all the sudden have to think about something and you'll miss 20 seconds of whatever you'll listen to and be lost.

I was doing good at cash so I stopped playing sng's. Then I basically lost at cash slowly and steadily, until my entire roll was down to $850, (would have been less if it wasn't for FTP bonus). Kind of poopy since I don't have a job, or have any $ saved up, and I never want to have to get a job ever. Started at the balla $12s on FTP and cruising with a 4% ROI so far. I'm probably gonna play 150-200 sngs every day and keep moving up, and then take a semi-retirement from poker when I have 20k saved up. I'm not sure what it is but I guess something about sng's is so comforting, and bad runs are a lot easier to deal with since almost every decision is pretty black and white, and any mistakes usually only cost you a dollar or two.

That's what I figured. I have trouble enough paying attention to books-on-tape when I'm a passenger in a car. Anyway I got one out from the library (Salem's Lot) so I'll give it a shot...this is the one opportunity that I've got.

Even the Full Tilt 50NL games are shark-infested now. I've been spending as much time switching tables as I have actually playing. And the potential profit gets increasingly smaller every month.

I'm now planning my exit strategy from full-time pro, having gone through the Anger and Denial phases and reached Acceptance.

I watch (but mostly listen) to TV shows while Im playiing. Ive been working through South Park recently.

Right now Im playing and listening to the Cetlics post game radio show.

I play better when I have something else Im listening to. Keeps me from FPSing.
