Also, if we could find out the account these 5k were transferred to, that neteller account could be frozen and might lead us directly to this hacker. I beg/plead anyone for help. This is all traceable. [/ QUOTE ] was ftp able to hunt down the other 25k? or did that go to nordic? i felt like there were 2 transfers of 25k each. not sure why also cant neteller find the location of the hacker who tried to access your account? its the same guy doing all this, guaranteed. im sure its same person on your stars and they will realize it same ip. not sure if they can get his location (address not town) or neteller would have to contact his ISP. |

Skip,
Indeed, the last reply to Stinger is even more unsettling regarding Full Tilt's due dilligence here. Did the scammer reveal the necessary neteller info to those "high stakes players" in the chatfield, or in another form of communication? Only FTP, the scammer and those other players know. It seems to me that Full Tilt is purposely trying to obfuscate this, and my gut tells me they are just hoping you go away at some point. Also, they didn't even send this information, lacking as it is, to you directly, but to Stinger who is only an unwitting bystander??? Absolutely outrageous. I'm afraid that much of this has to do with the black-market nature of FTP's US operations (assuming you and/or the scammers are in the US obv.) I would hope that, at the very least, if any of the other players who made these unwitting exchanges read this, they will contact you Skip. Best of luck. |

I'm so sick over this email to Brian. If I emailed FT back and asked which accounts this money were transferred to, they would tell me that they cant give out that info. Basically, saying, they're protecting the people who stole my $. This is so unsettling. Do you think the response to Brian should have it's own thread?

This situation is absolutely disgusting. I can't imagine how sick you feel about all of this, but I just wanted to say I've cashed out my money from Full Tilt as a result of FTs lack of action. I've railed a lot of your matches on Stars because you tend to play around the same time I do and it's unfortunate that this is happening to someone that seems to be a class act at the tables. Best of luck Jared.

Thank you for your sentiments. I appreciate that. Does the response to Brian need it's own thread? I think it's more appauling than anything they've said so far.

Im just amazed that they flat out refused to speak to you on the phone regarding the theft of tens of thousand of dollars, there is something really wrong here and it does seem like FT are trying to cover this up a bit. I suppose for legal reasons they cant even hint at any responsibility for this on their behalf, but at the very least they should be speaking to you more constructively and passing on the details of these scammers to relevant authorities. Im assuming that if the guys who scammed you live in the US they have commited a federal crime, how can fulltilt not be taking this seriously?
I would do my best to contact the high profile pros who have the ownership/stakes whatever their arrangement is in FTP and making a big deal about this. Personally, this story and a few similar ones recently have guaranteed that I will never deposit a cent of my money on their site and I know I'm not alone there. |

Hello Brian, Thank you for your email to Full Tilt Poker. My suggestion to you and other players is to be careful when you make such transfers. Your profiles as high stakes poker players make you subjected targets for thieves and opportunists. Perhaps a confirmation on the phone with the other party to ensure the validity of such transfers in the future would help negate such an occurrence from happening again. If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know. Again, I am sorry that there is nothing I can do for you here. Regards, Larry Cashier & Security Operations Manager Full Tilt Poker Support [/ QUOTE ] On the phone....WTF...Are they saying that the player contacts them or the player they are transferring to ?? Full Tilt is a joke....End Of !!! |

They are basically telling any hacker that this is how you do it. Find someone to transfer $ on another site, have them transfer you the $ to a bogus account on FT. Then transfer through several "associates" on our site, offer deals to other players - AKA offering 6k on FT for 5k on neteller and we at FT will do nothing about it.
I wonder if FT cares about the bad publicity it's creating or the ethics of their decisions including their lack of emailing back in a time sensitive manner. |

FT is handling this so poorly it's unimaginable |
