5 yards and not a huge deal but that was a terrible call. Jets had it at the 20 ball goes up in the air while reciever was at the 23 - he was inside of 5 yards - or if it was past 5 yards ball was in the air and it was tipped so no PI.

[/ QUOTE ]You can still commit a holding penalty even inside the 5 yard bump zone.

I'm a huge proponent of throwing short passes to control the clock, but dear god it's boring to watch.

My bad - thought that was considered a chuck. Thanks for clarification

Jets really need to score on this drive.

Anyone know what Harrison's status is for next week, our secondary is so bad this game.

Could the strong start/domination by the pats at the LOS vs softness in the 2nd half be a reflection of the age of the LB's?

Serious question - but they look like 2 different defenses.

The greatest irony of this game is that Brady is playing almost identical to Manning. He's focusing on the underneath stuff and letting the running game win the game. The drive has stalled out a couple of times and they've had to settle for field goals. He's left points on the field with a few bad decisions.

[/ QUOTE ]totally agreed with this sentiment, although I will note that Manning clearly has more weapons at WR to go downfield. I think that the interceptions are the big difference.

I'll agree with you about the injuries. I very much hold to my point that the Jets played a tougher schedule, and I totally hold to my point that when watching the two teams you can see that one is better.

Be honest:

-What did you think of the Seahawks yesterday? I thought that the entire game was pretty much a joke...poorly played game between two teams that didn't deserve to be in the playoffs. Seahawks were basically handed a victory.

-What do you think of the Jets today? Imo they are playing very good football against another very good team. The quality of play in this game is very high. Now I know that you can bring up a few key miscues, so let me say that I know the play isn't perfect. But its night and day watching these two games imho.

Jet's O is definitely winning a lot of battles this half, but I think its more adjustments and scheming than age. The Pats D has not been noticeably worse in the second half in other games.

I think the Jets are a better team, too, but they're not that much better, and clearly they're one of the weakest teams in the playoffs.
