Question about attack upgrade.

We all know about the problem of going from AT1 to AT2. Is there the same hit from AT2 to AT3? Will i get noticably less from mountains/deserted bases, and even less from ft0's?

Yes... keep your attack as low as possible for as long as possible!

BUT, I have realized just how much of a difference wanted level makes when it comes to getting attacked.

This seems to be the most important thing we need to remember. It really makes a difference.

Do you think saving 100 moves to focus on searching the mountians every move using a premade map would result in a reset over 80% of the time? It would be very easy for me to hit mountians on every move now that I have transport3. If I was just not so lazy and would map more stuff that is. lol

On a day I choose to put in the mega-hours required, I can hit every base in my known map area with almost all Mountains or DB in between, and end my attack run with around 600 moves remaining for new searching ... I will generally hit a reset a few times a day.

I am also now at TR3... with about 20,000 spaces mapped!

Default Coordinates posting - bad idea

This forum is open to any1 on the internet to lurk and search. Therefore, I think it's a bad idea to post coordinates of bases. We should exchange via email or some other method.

I have a map in Word in the SE sector near my base. It's about 14 squares long and about 90 squares wide. If any1 is interested, PM me or reply to this post and I'll send it.

I'm not too concerned about posting where opponents bases are! (and there is some coordination going on off forum)

Though a google search for "ORLY alliance" does bring up this thread as the #1 hit

p.s... did you join the alliance?

I think posting opponents coordinates is a bad idea b/c non-aliance members can hit those bases. For example, before I decided to join the alliance, I compiled a long list of inteligence from this site. Now why should we let people not in the alliance know about where bases and mines are? It's not the end of the world, but there's 30+ people in the alliance and that's enough to share the bases.

Yes I joined the alliance, but I gave some thought to just stealing intelligence without joining.

Alright guys, I think I am out of this for now. Feel free to keep me in the Alliance as long as my numbers are helping the cause.
