When I post in SSNL, I *NEVER* get a response to a hand. I don't know if it's because
A) The hand was standard and deserves no comment
2) The hand is so hard that nobody knows what is correct
#) I'm a noob so ignore me. Hardly anyone has even read the thread.

Lead the turn 1/2 pot. Fold to re-raise. As played, the river didn't help him so you are already beat. Just my opinion.

If this is how 2007 is going to go, I quit now.

Last night was odd compared to usual.

Went to two house parties, tho the 2nd one only briefly.

1st party is a standard family affair round a friends, weve gone there a few years on the trot now - we ate random party food that was laid out, we drank lots, we played a drinking game version of snakes and ladders, we gave alcohol to children (there parents were there and knew, before someone goes off on a rant ).

Oh, and there is a daughter of my mates neighbour who has turned up the last couple of years and last night i found out she goes to school with my brother which was a 'small world' type scenario.

The second party was at my friends house that she rented a couple months back and plans on buying - we were there like half an hour - it was probably the worst house party ive ever went to. There was just 5 people there (many didnt turn up allegedly) and they were sat around watching telly.

I graced them with my own brand of drunken humour and we left.

-----

Speaking of small world, i was ITM in an MTT the other day, and one of the guys in it goes by the name of FatterMarra - a solid cash game player from what my friend who was sweating told me. It was then that i noticed his location was the town i grew up in and live near. In fact after a brief conversation he said he was born in the village my parents now live in.

Now THAT is a 'small world' scenario.

Beaten only when 3 years ago i was in an STT on pokerroom and one of my opponants lived 5 minutes away on the other side of the student accomodation i was living in.
