If I think that villain will throw away a hand like AJ here, is this a worthwhile play? Over a couple hundred hands with villain, he's thrown away some TPTK-type hands facing big bets from myself because he views me as "too tight." It doesn't really look like the king helped him on the turn, and with my river bet I'm representing JJ+, AK. Reasonable, or spew?

How likely is something like AJ though? Wouldn't he have bet or raised that on the flop or turn?

I don't think that kind of blanket statement is especially helpful. The reason you don't 3-barrel at NL25 is that villains are unwilling to fold their marginal hands. This particular villain has shown that he's willing. I'm more interested in the mechanics of why this was good or bad.

After he calls the 2nd barrel on the turn (which isnt terrible, but isnt a move I would make at 25NL), its unlikely that hell fold to the river bet. The river card changed nothing, and unless hes playing scared, I dont think this will work.

Spew, if I am villian I am not putting you on Kx. If you had Kx you are Welcoming me to valuetown and not betting >95% of the pot.

I like your second barrel...you can generally get many better hands to fold...I think by the river, you have to check though. If the K didnt scare him on the turn, its not going to scare him by the river.

I like the 2nd barrel, but only as the last money in the pot UI. I like it because not only could it fold Jx hands, but also because 77 - TT could lay it down. Plus, he could have just picked up a straight draw if the king didn't hit him, and the bet protects against that.

But on the river, any hand ahead of you that's called 2 PSB's already is too likely to call the river IMO.

Do you always bet ~90% Pot?
I think you should always consider/vary your bet sizes, especially when you bet that often.
