any thought of making a taxes master sticky with links to quality threads and relevant websites? since tax season is on the horizon and this place usually has about 9034590 threads asking the same tax questions

In addition to that, another thing I would like to do is change the description of this forum on the main page to direct tax questions in here. Currently, tax questions are posted in many different forums including Personal Finance, OOT and strat forums. It would be nice to have a central place to come for tax stuff.

Good idea

We have to be careful what we put in a sticky like that, but at the very least some basic information should be useful. It is getting near that time again.

A disclaimer notice.
I don't want to see this forum go away. I like open information, but all too often people tend to take some advice too readily without solid verification and do diligence. A disclaimer would place blame squarely where it belongs.

Correct

That is why we have to be very selective in what gets stickied. 2+2 isn't in the business of tax preparation or advice and we don't need some idiot claiming we gave them "official" advice that somehow comes back around to bit us in the rear.
