i have a profitable job.. so when i get paid should i put half to my bankroll and half to my regular roll?

That would be a pretty good way to lose a lot of money pretty fast. One of the main reasons for building your roll strictly off your poker play is to ensure you're not playing over your skill level. If you artificially inflate your roll, you'll be tempted to play at levels higher than your skill dictates.

Think of your bankroll as experience points in a RPG, you need the points to move up levels. Just try to work on progressively moving up. Once you realize that you are stunting your growth from "stealing" from your roll, you'll stop. I'd be much more tempted to take from my savings than my bankroll.

Hope this helps.
