I never played it with more than 2 players but it certainly was fun 2player and single player. I've been pretty disappointed with the subsequent mana games, but I haven't checked out the ones that came out this past month.

Secret of Mana with the Multitap was one of the sweetest games ever. Still great without, but with it it was awesome.

great game and the first RPG I ever played, there's a good chance it's the reason i've played as many rpgs as I have.

As for the list, im surprised so many people have zeldaot on top, it was a great game, im just not sure it is even the best in its own series. Course, a lot of people have had the same feelings about ff7 as i do about OOT

Ultima I
Seven Cities of Gold
Doom
Command & Conquer
GTA: Vice City

No particular order. I'm a big fan of the originals because they were groundbreaking, even though the sequels were improvements in many cases. The only exception is Vice City, which was about as perfect as a game could get.

1. HALO - Best multiplayer level designs of any FPS ever.
2. Goldeneye - Nothing needs to be said.
3. Project Gotham Racing(series)- Pure racing with no BS
4. Grand Theft Auto (series)- I can still remember laughing
my head off the first time i beat a lil ol' lady to
death.
5. Super Mario 64 - just plain amazing.

Runner-ups: Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, Battlefield 2, Forza Motorsport, Unreal Tournament 04, and Starfox.

Sorriest, most overrated Games:

Counterstrike- dont get me wrong, this game was decent, but i cant believe this game was still the most widely played game 5-6 yrs after it came out. seriously, there were much better games by that time, but i suppose people were too stubborn to try anything else. even when battlefiel 2 came out, that game was still way more popular. i suppose people love playing in a hacker-filled environment.

Halo 2- dam this game suked. i LOVE Halo 1, trust me im a fan, but man was this game a letdown. the campaign was short and bizzare in terms of the story, multiplayer levels were not as good as Halo 1s, and the weapons were horrible mainly the wussy-pistol, though the SMG isnt far behind. the pistol destroyed halo. it changed everything. if u think it didnt, its cuz u suk at the game and most likely use needlers.

Backgammon.

The only answer possible.

If I limit myself to videogames, things are a bit different:

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Ico
Burnout (3 & 4)
Civilization: Call to Power
Wizardry (anyone remember Wizardry?), 'cause I wrote it.

Amen. The pistol-shotgun combo was my bread and butter in Halo 1. I suck at Halo 2 because the pistol became worthless. And what's up with getting rid of some of the best multiplayer levels? Rat Race, that snowy one, Hang Em High, etc. were awesome.
