As for % of total offense, it's a useless stat.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because it favors featured players in bad offenses and has little correlation with a player's contribution to winning football games.

[ QUOTE ]
The only one you showed was that Westbrook is a more effective receiver, which I could say is useless because that is a result of offensive scheme.

[/ QUOTE ]

You could say a lot of retarded things if you wanted to.

Each lost fumble costs greater than 4 points.

Complaints:

AFC

WR-
Starters:
A. Johnson
C. Johnson

Reserves:
Wayne/Harrison

I think Wayne or Harrison should have started over AJ.

Gonzo probably should have started over Gates (they have it the other way around)

DT - starters
Seymour
J. Williams

Reserve:
Hampton

I don't think Seymour should have made it. Hampton = starter, Henderson or Ngata = reserve.

ILB:
Starter - Al Wilson
Reserve - Zach Thomas

I'd have Thomas starting w/ Ryans as the backup.

Also, for OT, its hard to argue that McNeil should be in above Ogden/Anderson/Glenn, but hopefully hes chosen to replace the injured Glenn.

At Guard I think I start Waters over Shields this year.

In the NFC, I'd have Larry Allen starting. Idk which starter sits for him though. I just think he should be the #1 guard.

Also I'd like to congratulate the voters for getting the NFC SS starter right! Roy Williams is awesome it playing the run, but Adrian Wilson is just plain awesome!

What is the definition of Power Runs?

[/ QUOTE ]

"Percentage of runs on third or fourth down, two yards or less to go, that achieved a first down or touchdown. Also includes runs on first-and-goal or second-and-goal from the two-yard line or closer."

I wish I had the stats for just Westbrook and just Gore, but alas, I do not.

A little surprised that Rivers got in over Brady, but I'll take it.

Also, does anyone else think John Lynch is overrated?

Polamolu, Strong, Lynch, Al Wilson all shouldn't have made it. I'm sure there are others.

From the 3-4 Denver games I've watch this year, he appears to be playing great football still, especially against the run. I don't know if he deserved a spot though.

Since when is the Pro Bowl about teams winning football games? If that's the case why are Driver, Boldin, Bulger, etc. on the team?

Are you saying that the offensive playcalling in Philly isn't a factor in Westbrook's receiving stats?

I'll rephrase the question.

Does anyone else think someone OTHER than John Lynch should have gotten the Pro Bowl spot?

Way to completely misunderstand.

Uh, because they contributed to their team's victories?
