Newhizzle: [ QUOTE ] my degenerate friends have lost well over 200k of my money, they are all broke too [/ QUOTE ] This needs a story Either a made-up one by someone else or the truth from newhizzle [/ QUOTE ] here is the thing: mark is a very trusting guy who has a big heart and a lot of faith. he is also smart. at the time id bet he made the investments that many people in his shoes would have made and some combination of bad luck and an unrealized change in the quality of his investments resulted in this predicament. im sure i can guess where a lot of this (or most) of this money went, but it doesn't matter at all. i hope he is able to get it back,... and if not all of it, then some of it! in the worst case scenario though he lost 130k ((1-.35)*200) as this is clearly a gambling related loss that is 100% deductible. bottom line is it sux and i dont think we should spend time making him relive the events that led up to and resulted in this seriously sh*tty predicament. much love mark, and i hope w/ all hope that you come out of this better than down 130k. [/ QUOTE ] big difference between: a) bringing it up to a message board to be like "i lost 200k to degenerates" and b) saying "yo, f*ck ya'lls problems, i lost 200k to degenerates, F*CK" combined with, "im not telling this board all about it, just recognize the sh*ttiness by giving me respect bitches." im pretty sure his mentioning of it amounts to a and not so much b. he mentioned it likely to vent a bit w/o going into details, which is understandable. he's not being EM2 here. Nath, I will not stop until you admit that ONE, just ONE of my posts is humerous.
I seriously have posted things in one forum that you rip, then the EXACT same thing is said in another forum by someone else and you say it's hilarious. I think my rep here is like Frogpond's. I hated Frogpond, but every now and then he said something funny.
