I have to agree with Everclear. Also, XTC. Most of their songs are just so dumb I don't see how anyone can get into them. Making Plans for Nigel? The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead? WTF, how can anyone enjoy listening to that?

Ok, here's the deal. Insane Clown Posse is such an irrelevant choice for the worst band ever trophy. Who will care about them or MSI, or Simple Plan, or the Turd Brothers, or whoever? Nobody, that's who. To be in the running for WBE, you need fame, and a staying power to your suckiness. You need that extra umph.

Having set that out, here are the correct nominees so far, plus a few I'd like to toss out there:

-Kiss
-The Eagles
-Aerosmith
-Coldplay

and my picks

-The Grateful Dead
-Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship/Starship
-Eric Clapton

I think a very strong case can be made for either The Grateful Dead or the Eagles, although I'd give it to the Eagles in terms of sheer loathesomeness.
