You can go anywhere and do anything with your time outside poker. Can you think of anything else you would enjoy doing? Just to live life... Go there, do that, play poker on the side. Move to vegas, get in lots of live tourneys, move to san diego just for the weather for a year. Try Chicago, or NYC, San Francisco.
Perhaps none of that is the motivation you are looking for. If you want to make tons of cash and work the big time poker grind then I do suggest living with someone with the same perspective unless you can self motivate. GL with wherever, but you have to get out of PA. Pittsburgh isnt so bad , but....

If you want to be a real professional poker player, isn't it obvious you have to live in Las Vegas, Nevada? Move there, live alone to avoid too much distraction, and play poker. The downside is a 6-hour filght back to PA to visit the family, but if you make the amount of money you think you'll make, the cost of a trip every two weeks shouldn't be a problem.

lol - well I said I didn't know it that well.
Memphis is a hub for a lot of travel, and Tunica is close, but then you would be living in Tennessee. Obvious choice Las Vegas.
