Hang on,

you can't beat 10/20 so you're moving up to 200/400?

Bob,
I've played with you quite bit in the past but not at all recently at Canterbury, all 15-30. I'm not concerned about you being to play with the guys at 1/2 and 2/4. What you should be careful of is the pressures of being staked. I am currently staked online for NL, because I, like yourself, am mostly a limit player and these guys were telling that all the money is in NL games, so they staked me. Its not fun when you lose 5 buy ins or take a huge hit and your backer is like, WTF, I thought you could play... anyways, although that didn't answer your initial question, maybe it's a little insightful. I'll see you at Canterbury over my Christmas break and introduce myself to you, Good Luck.
I'm kinda curious as to what kind of deal you are getting also, feel free to share if you want.

i'm interested as well. do you think your staker would be interested in a crossbook? i think i'd be willing to offer 1 to 1 on your winnings if i could get 1 to 2 on your losses.

please ask your staker if he'd be itnerested, as this would be roughly equivalent to staking you for 300/600 getting 100% of winnings at only the difficulty level of 200/400, assuming he's only taking 50% of your winnings now.

I'm astonished that PokerBob thinks that the key to limit hold'em game selection is avoiding the best players.

[/ QUOTE ]

why are you assuming i think that this is the "key"? did i write that somewhere?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, it's what you're bothering to find out.

Some,

I don't understand the point of giving Bob a hard time about his decision. Why should anyone be critical of another's decision as to how they want to go about whatever they want to do in poker? It just doesn't make sense.

Bob, good luck man see you at the tables.
