[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I have an index card on which I write the first name and last initial of every girl I sleep with. [ QUOTE ] For whatever reason, the bolded part strikes me as odd. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] How many girls are you gonna have sex with before you run into one with the same first name... I suppose if your keeping a record this piece would be standard [/ QUOTE ] Could be just a personal memory thing. I never refer to a person by the first name and last initial; if I need to differentiate between two people with the same first name, I use their entire last name, or some other nickname or descriptor. Perhaps Pvt. Joker does it differently. -McGee [/ QUOTE ] I can see many reasons to keep a list like that somewhat anonymous... |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I have a question that relates to this. Do you guys keep some sort of record? [/ QUOTE ] SQL Database. rj [/ QUOTE ] RJ, Will Access do? [/ QUOTE ] I believe that Access will only store a maximum of 10,000 records. It would be a shame to have to limit yourself like that. |

[ QUOTE ]
(Beat: an ex-girlfriend once went through my drawers and found the card, then got really upset. I told her it was just girls I've dated -- and that I'd only slept with 15 or so. She bought it). [/ QUOTE ] Beat #2: I was dating 3 girls last year simultaneously. One knew about another one. One morning, girl A came into the bathroom when I was brushing my teeth with a pair of panties on the end of a pencil. She had gone searching for her underwear and had found someone elses. worst part is I had to lie and say it was girl B and not girl C's. I took her to lunch and everything was cool. |

Still, it seems like some other descriptor would work better. "D-cup Jen," "unshaven Jen," "insane Jen," etc. If you're that worried about anonymity, it seems to me you're better off keeping such a list somewhere other than your drawer. Or just using a bunch of checkmarks to count. Or, it could just be a personal memory thing. -McGee |
