Based on reading this thread I'm convinced some people don't even watch the show. It was blatantly obvious Pixie killed herself. Things I liked about this episode 1. Double mind reading scene 2. Peter's dream 3. Someone being higher than the father 4. Haitian disobeying father 5. Father owing Sylar 6. Isaac learning his powers. Things I didn't like about this episode 1. Any scene that was exclusively about Parkman 2. Pixie chick being borderline retarded. 3. The ending. It didn't really end with a cliffhanger. It is not like all of these people would have come together in NYC without them being brought together. Kind of confusing. [/ QUOTE ] That made me think the opposite. He being able to absorb everyone's powers makes him a super hero. Like that was the reason why he had to save the cheerleader.

Pixie did have to turn off the "forcefield" cuz while Sylar's powers wouldn't work with it on...neither would hers.
ony problem is she underestimated his powers.

But I don't buy that telekinesis trumps psionics, pixie just needs to keep saying "you don't want to hurt me" and she should win. But they had to kill her off because psionics is too unbalanced a power and can beat pretty much anything. Pixie chick was also a guest star on Everwood as Laynie Hart sister of coma boy and sort of best friend/love interest of the two main teen characters. She also was one of the stars of Brick, the well received independent film.

[/ QUOTE ] that would be a very lame secret. at minimum, i'd expect that the "secret" she'd have to keep (from her father, among others) was that he hadn't actually erased her memory. a better secret would be something that sheds some light on the operation that he and her father work for and what their true purpose is. somehow i think the haitian and claire's father are linked to Linderman, too. anyone else think that claire's father could/should be toast now that sylar is free?
