Exactly! I do ebay too on a much smaller scale than this person claim. SO I'd be happy to give my ID I want business! Feel free to stop by and check out "ucvalue"
(However you won't find much cool, it's mostly stuff my wife is selling)
But that's the point.. why would someone that make such claims not want to give their ID. I just don't get it....

I wouldn't be surprised if the OP wont give his eBay ID because he is worried that some unscrupulous scoundrel from this board may try and wreck his auctions? (i.e. it is easy to create an ebay ID and then "wreck" auctions by bidding ridiculous amounts on them with no intention of paying. All eBay can do is ban the wreckers account. This is why a lot of auctions have things like "no zero feedback bidders".)

No its more likely cause he been telling us his dreams and not what's real. Besides that's just plan dumb, why or how are you ever going to prevent that if you don't want a problem now and than don't put stuff on ebay.
Also you can create filters in ebay to deal with a lot of these kind of issues, its stuff that runs behind the scenes to filter out BS. I have my auctions set up so if you have a negative score you can't bid, but I could add other filters too... I just don't care that much...

Yep still waiting.... (3rd call)

Sorry missed it, we sell online for local and national customers like American General etc. As for my id I do not give it out in forums as it caused some fraud issues before.

How successful now can someone be if they have to start with a 0 feedback rating?

Are people less likely to even bid on a product from someone like that?

Yes it's harder but you can be a buyer first to get some feedback. Purchase enough items to get a feedback score of 10 to 20 at 100% and start selling.
