Considering Villain's flop bet (400 into a 935 pot) I think this line makes the most sense. Clearly you are ahead against some portion of his range of his hands, and the price is relatively cheap, and you have position and can re-evaluate on the turn.

If he has QQ and you make a boat surely you get his stack, so I don't think calling the flop (as opposed to folding) can be all that wrong. I agree raising seems like a mistake, for the simple fact that you all worse hands fold and no better ones do.
