A lot of really good choices mentioned here. A lot of the choices mentioned were insanely popular, and then fell off, but still stick around. Moreso in some circles than others. For example, Napolean Dynamite, Anchorman, Super Troopers, Office Space. I think Monty Python and the Holy Grail wins for standing the test of time. Caddy Shack is up there too, but probably not as popular across as big of a demographic.

"C'mon rook, finish it up" "Stinks like sex in here" "Someone got distracted while doin the repeater." <b>that'll happen<b> "Hey pink stick, move it or lose it" "Move that gigantic cotton candy!!!" "How's the view from sugar heaven bitch?!?!" how has nobody mentioned fear and loathing?
i concur that pulp fiction and leboski have to be in top 5 I hang out with stoners so super troopers makes top 5 easy. funny, i bet you can tell a lot about a person(age/sense of humor) by what he/she would list as top 5 most quotable movies. |

[ QUOTE ]
I didn't pick the most quoted part of the movie on purpose. Sure, anyone can pick you can't handle the truth if they wanted to be boring. That doesn't make the movie any less quotable. [/ QUOTE ] WTF are you talking about? The thing that makes the movie quotable is that people actually quote them. We have all heard someone say "you can't handle the truth" dozens of times. Your list has a bunch of lines I remember from the movies but I have never heard anyone actually say most of them in real life. |
