Tempting to drop a certain Dirty Harry-quote here, but that wouldn't be very original, so I won't.. [/ QUOTE ] I prefer the stadium scene: ![]() just watching it fills me with adrenaline. |

several clint lines:
Man With No Name: You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig. Jamie: I wish we had time to bury them fellas. Josey Wales: To hell with them fellas. Buzzards gotta eat, same as worms. Bounty hunter #1: You're wanted, Wales. Josey Wales: Reckon I'm right popular. You a bounty hunter? Bounty hunter #1: A man's got to do something for a living these days. Josey Wales: Dyin' ain't much of a living, boy. Highway: I've drank more beer, pissed more blood, and banged more quiff than all you numb-nuts put together Harry Callahan: You forgot your fortune cookie. Gunman #1: [Yelling] What? Harry Callahan: It says..."You're [censored] out of luck." |

I was going to say the scene where Ray Liotta beats up the guy who tried to rape his girlfriend. [/ QUOTE ] Good call. I loved the maniacal look in his eyes just as he turns around after the deed. "I gotta admit - it turned me on." |

couldn't find a clip. but Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai has some seriously badass moments. also, Sanjuro and Yojimbo are chock full of Toshiro Mifune being a badass.
(The spaghetti western's are directly influenced by Kurosawa's work) A fistfull of dollars is actually a direct remake of a Kurosawa flick. Check them out if you like spaghetti westerns. |

[/ QUOTE ] my favorite part of that scene is when liotta is walking up the driveway, and the guy says, "what, you want to fight?". and then liotta just smashes him in the face. sends home that message, no, i don't want to fight, i just want to beat the living [censored] out of you. |

If the scene where they are playing long tall sally in the helicopter in predator doesnt get your testosterone flowing, you are not a man.

They Live + Rowdy Roddy Piper the fistfight and... "I'm here to kick ass and chew gum...and I'm all out of gum" [/ QUOTE ] That does it. I know this thread has probably been done numerous times before, but that doesn't make me [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] it any less. Pretty good calls throughout. |

Kinda surprised good ol' John Wayne hasn't been mentioned. Some good ones:
"Every time you turn around expect to see me. 'Cause one time you'll turn around and I'll be there, and I'll kill you, Matt." (Red River) "Out here, due process is a bullet." (Green Beret) Reverend Clayton: "Well, the prodigal brother. When did you get back? Ain't seen you since the surrender. Come to think of it, I didn't see you at the surrender." Ethan: "I don't believe in surrenders. Nope, I've still got my saber, Reverend. Didn't beat it into no plowshare, neither." (The Searchers) |
