Re: Hold\'em on the Come
The first half of the book, the part dealing with counting and discounting outs, was excelent. So good, in fact, that I consider HotC to be #4 on my Limit Hold'em Requiored Reading list, right between Weighing the Odds and Real Poker II: The Play of Hands. A nessasary part of any Limit Hold'em specialist's education.
The second half, the part where you try to calculate and estimate Limit Hold'em implied odds, is utter crap. Needlessly complicated. Worthless.
The first part of the book is so good, though, that you can read just that part, ignore the rest and still get more than your money's worth back at the tables.
