Al Pacino [/ QUOTE ] Two For the Money and Devil's Advocate come to mind. For Mel Gibson, Lethal Weapon 4 was terrible. Morgan Freeman....may have to ding him for Deep Impact, Hard Rain, and Guilt By Association (but I won't count that against him...a definite travesty.) ScottieK |

Morgan Freeman? I haven't seen all of his movies, but just by browsing imdb, he's done a lot of great ones. [/ QUOTE ] He was the Narrator for War of the Worlds. Does that disqualify him? I think so. Being associated with that movie at all is a pretty big mark against someone. edit: Wasn't Dreamcatcher also pretty well considered horrible? I didn't see it but it seems I remember this. |

This thread has turned retarded. A bunch of no taste mofos naming acceptable to good movies as disqualifiers. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah. Just because you personally don't like a movie doesn't mske it bad. Cazale is probably the only actor with more than 3 movies that qualifies, though, so the thread started off kind of silly. I'm sure there are a lot of like stuntmen and extras who have only been in one good movie. Everyone else... What percentage of movies are bad? It's at least 20%, right? No way some guy with like 35 movies under his belt dodges all those bullets. |

If we ignore bit roles, James Dean. Only 3 major film roles: Giant, East of Eden, and of course, Rebel without a Cause.

Jake Gyllenhaal? [/ QUOTE ] The Day After Tomorrow was terrible. he was also in Bubble Boy are you guys just guessing or are you actually looking on IMDB? and whoever said Pacino...wtf? are you high? he does mostly bad movies these days. I'd almost be willing to guarantee there isn't an actor w/ more than 10 credits who could make it. unless...Gael Garcia Bernal. anyone seen his obscure stuff? he did: Bad Education, The Motorcycle Diaries, Y Tu Mama Tambien, El Crimen del Padre Amaro, and Amores Perros, which were all good. |

Matt Damon ? [/ QUOTE ] DOGMA , Legend of Baggar Vance. [/ QUOTE ] there's no way you can say Dogam was a bad movie and still have any idea what the fil was about. If you didn't like it, you didn't get it. |

[/ QUOTE ] Not only did Dreamcatcher blow nuts, Freeman also appeared in The Big Bounce, which was a complete embarrasment. |

Nicolas Cage and before the flames start, here is the reasoning. A movie can be good or bad but it will NEVER be his fault.
