22.36/12.49/2.41 at full tilt [/ QUOTE ] You're horribly, egregiously tight. Anything greater than 23.7 +- .56 is spewy, and any less (including you), is UNBELIEVABLY nitty. |

Why do I bother asking? I actually can't even tell who's sincere.

I'm hoping it's just because i used the word "optimal." I probably should have just asked if my stats were way out of line.

Simply playing and raising the agreed "correct" precentage of hands will not make you a winning player. Most people would agree that under 20% is too tight and over 30% is too loose for 6-max(although there will always be exceptions). Anything between that and your postflop play will determine if you're a winner or not. |

Thank you, Dagger. I understand what you're saying about postflop. I just started playing shorthanded after playing and winning full ring for two years, and I'm not used to losing. I know I had to loosen up to play shorthanded, but I just wanted to know if I was playing way too tight. It seems all the winners I've been playing with are LAGs.

I used to play nitty 24/16/30%ATS and have been a decent winner. Since playing on the 28-30/19-21/38%ATS train, poker has become a serious problem.

50 vp / 40 pfr
Went on to do over 90k hands at very good winrate. Player since moved up to very high limits on Party before the U.S players got banned. |
