Yes, fellow Brown Trout types...it's the truth. In addition to being Party's software designer, Anurag has an additional moonlighting job: He is the director of airline food for Delta Air Lines.
How do I know this, you may ask? I just got back from my first poker-playing trip to Las Vegas. (For the record: about +2.5 BB/hr playing 2/4 to 4/8 LHE in various places for the trip.) On the flight from Cincinnati to LV, we were served a snack. It came in the following package:

When it rains it pours! No one told me the upswing would feel this good compared to the downswing when I first started at $1/2. Oh YEAH! Tonight was a good night.

God I love Paradise. Love it, love it, love it. I'm playing O8 there now, but the Hold'em games are great as well. Just played an O8 pot that reached 59 BB. I knew I was getting quartered for the low (and had no high), but I was still pumping the river because there were five people left in there with me. Even if I get sixthed, I'm just breaking even. Sure enough, got quartered, and still came out + 4BB on the hand. I might have to start playing Paradise even when they don't offer a bonus. It's the most accurately named poker site ever. (Caveat: I have never played at Fish Pond poker, so it's possible that they really deserve this title.) [/ QUOTE ] At first I was apprehensive about going from pokerstars to paradise... But I don't think I ever want to go back now. These players are wonderful! |

I was playing 6-max and a terrible player had been berating a fish who was winning. Fish leaves the table and the terrible player types in the chat:
Takes the money and run.... what a loser I just thought this comment was kind of funny. Now English isn't my first language, but wouldn't the correct word here be winner rather than loser? |
