A recent example of why 1/2 has been a nightmare for me.
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) CP hand converter Preflop: Hero is MP with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop: (6.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) BB bets, UTG folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls. Turn: (6.25 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets, Hero calls. River: (8.25 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets, Hero calls. Final Pot: 10.25 BB Results in white below: BB has Kd 3s (two pair, kings and sixes). Hero has 9c 9h (two pair, nines and sixes). Outcome: BB wins 10.25 BB. I'm finally experiencing what you old timers call a "downswing." Atleast all these unpredictable opponents are teaching me to pay more attention and take more notes. For example, after this hand, I was able to calmly sit back, open up the note box for this player, and type in "[censored] YOU YOU LUCK ASS MOTHER [censored]. EAT MY ASS" |
