I go along with Faulty Towers (maybe not the same effect as the first time you see it, but I love John Cleese)

I liked Cheers in its prime. Loved Seinfeld. Family Guy, obviously.

I also liked In Living Color for at least a couple seasons. Like anything, some skits didn't work, but the ones that did were brilliant.

Ari Gold is one of the funniest characters on tv IMO. I just turned 22, so all of my shows are relatively recent if not still on the air. Thus, no love for the classics.

Mork and Mindy when I was a kid, but I doubt I would find it that funny now.

I always found the shows that, at times, made me laugh the most had a dumb (or spaced out or something) guy.

Woody or Coach on Cheers

Monty Python was sometimes hilarious.

SNL occassionally - and some of the funniest things I've ever seen have been on David Letterman.

Seinfeld had a lot of funny bits too.

I like The Simpsons better than any of those shows, but it's more than just funny.
