Hi Wookie,
I see you hit quite a few different sites in your 5/10 adventure. Do you cast such a wide net looking for good games, or do you not have any particular preference between the rooms?

I think he just had all poker rooms selected, but did not play hands at each of those sites. I think he played primarily on UB and Absolute, with perhaps a light mix of another 1 or 2.

Attempted turn screwplay? If against an aggressive player, I like it.

Nice hand. That's a pretty good pot for quads, too. They're hard to collect on, especially aces.

I just selected all sites out of convenience rather than manually selecting Absolute, UB, and Party. However, that's still a pretty decent variety. I'd say that in general, UB and ABS have tougher games than Party. However, their 6 max games can still be quite good. Additionally, I get rakeback and bonus simultaneously with Absolute, which is tough to beat. It's hard for Party's games to be 3-4 BB/100 more profitable. In general, I would default to playing at Absolute, but if I couldn't find a decent game there, I'd look at UB (where I also have rakeback). If that still wasn't looking good, then I was off to Party. Recently, however, I had a bonus to clear at Party, so I'm going to finish that off before returning to Absolute.

I have RB at Absolute and I had bonii there but I let them expire. I thought their 1/2 full was too tough and I wasn't doing well at 1/2 6max anyway. I'm doing better at 1/2 short now so I'll give that a try on the next bonus. Do you think the difference with bonii and RB is actually 3-4 BB/100? How do you figure that out?

I find the 1/2 6-max at Absolute fairly reasonable. 2/4 was a killer, so I'm trying Stars for that. We'll see.

Oh, and bonii easily add 3 BB/100 at 1/2 on Absolute.

Playing 3 tables of 1/2 6 max, I would clear about $10 of bonus every 45 min, which means on a single table it was $10 every 2 hours and 15 min (2.25 hours). If we approximate the hand rate as 60 hands/hour, then we have $10 cleared every 135 hands, or about 3.7 BB/100. In this thread, I gave my data for Absolute rake at 1/2 6 max at about 3.5 BB/100. Looks my estmation for the earn off bonus in that thread is a little different than in this one. I think my 45 min estimate was a little low. Even so, with 3.25 BB/100 of bonus, and then being able to get a certain percentage (no discussing percentages or talk that could lead to specific affiliates in threads) of 3.5 BB/100 back, it looks like it works out that you're costing Absolute money to play there. I actually quoted 3-4 BB/100 for me at 5/10, where my BB's are larger (it actually may be more like 2-3, but I haven't run the numbers). You should be doing much better than that at 1/2.
