It doesn't matter though. As much as I want to get fired up, I just know Texas will end up playing in the NC game.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think the Wildcats would have to argue with you about that.

I would be so happy if they do. I'm not getting the game though

Teams still left in the NC debate:
SEC:
Florida
Arkansas

Big 12:
Texas

Big Ten:
OSU
Michigan
Wisconsin?

Big East:
Rutgers (Louisville/WVU?)

Pac-10:
USC

Independents:
Notre Dame

Wow. Damn @ this list. Giant, giant cluster [censored].

lc,

One of the SEC teams will be out by default.
Ditto for Big10 (and Wisconsin does not deserve to be mentioned, sorry all)
Only one of USC/ND survives at best
Texas is looking to be in trouble

The cluster will thin itself out

Well I saw the game on TV, and he didn't drop it. It was knocked out of his hands by the Horns.

That still leaves a OSU/Michigan, possibly Rutgers, USC/ND, a SEC team, and Texas.

I think that's a fairly big clusterfuck.

So you're saying that wins in which you take advantage on turnovers shouldn't count?

[/ QUOTE ]

To me, there's a HUGE difference between taking advantage on turnover during a game and getting a gift when the game should be over.

[/ QUOTE ]

So you are saying that if you take advantage of a late mistake by an opponent in winning the game, it shouldn't count? A win is a win. Even if you are one who likes to consider MOV, this was still a Texas win. It was completly ligit.

It is easy to go back through close games and say if this or that hadn't happened, the result would have been diferent. You could do this with many teams. We need to consider what did happen, and what happened was Texas won.

It's sort of useless to agrue about this now, because my points to back me up are falling (ie Auburn).

I hated how Texas was considered the best 1 loss team by the polls when they got a gift at Nebraska. Considering what Auburn, Florida, Cal have done lately, it sort of kills the thunder I had.
