It is my goal for the rest of the season to make people realize that Texas is not the best of the 1 loss teams, because Texas should be 8-2.

WHY DOES EVERYONE FORGET ABOUT THE NEBRASKA GAME!

Texas was DONE, GAME OVER, DRIVE HOME SAFELY.

With just under 2 minutes left, Nebraska a 1 point lead and Texas no timeouts left, here's what happened since so many people seem to forget :

3rd and 3 at NEB 36
Zac Taylor pass complete to Terrence Nunn for 9 yards, fumbled at the Neb 45, forced by Aaron Ross, recovered by Marcus Griffin at the Neb 45, tackled by Aaron Ross.

Had this [censored] Nunn not fumbled the ball, the game was over. The game was under 2 minutes left, Nebraska got a first down on the above play, and Texas didn't have a timeout left.

WHY IS TEXAS ONE OF THE BEST 1 LOSS TEAMS?!?!?!?!?! You got to be freakin kidding me.

[/ QUOTE ]

So you're saying that wins in which you take advantage on turnovers shouldn't count?

And who forced the fumble? Oh yeah, the Longhorns did. Longhorns did what they needed to do. Then they drove the ball into the wind and snow and brought in a guy who had never kicked in College before who got the winning field goal.

Iggy, they have blown out Rice, North Texas and Sam Houston State. What else do they need to do?

They count for every team but Notre Dame.

He said that they aren't the best 1-loss team because they "should've" had 2 losses. Well, just because you take advantage of a turnover to win doesn't mean you "should've" lost.

Nebraska should've never been in that position verse Texas. The early bounces in that game went the Huskers way. Texas outplayed them much more than the 2 point differential would suggest IIRC.

To me, there's a HUGE difference between taking advantage on turnover during a game and getting a gift when the game should be over.

That video sucks but that's the best I could find. It appears to me that Nunn dropped it instead of Texas really causing it. Looks like he was scared of the hit and just let the ball go, like he forgot he was carrying a football.

It doesn't matter though. As much as I want to get fired up, I just know Texas will end up playing in the NC game.
