Angus - a 1-loss USC team has a better resume than a 1-loss Cal team would.

[/ QUOTE ]

But you said a 1-loss Arkansas team should be above a 1-loss Cal team. Address the point that Cal's resume would include a win over the team that soundly beat Arkansas.

[/ QUOTE ]

The transitive property is not strong in College Football.

Spurrier winning in Gainesville today would knock another strong team out of contention and be a big boon to Cal and Arkansas in their hunt.

[/ QUOTE ]

I understand that A beat B...etc doesn't hold water. But I think the this discussion is a bit useless anyway. Hard to see a #9 or #11 moving up to #2 this late in the season.

A GEORGIA BULLDOG

LOL, keep saying that til you believe it.

I've been the main UGA hater all season, but they looked good this game. You could tell Auburn didn't come to play and UGA was ready to make this their statement game for the rebuilding season. Also, Richt finally let Lumpkin get some serious carries (no idea how he kept getting like 3 carries in the 2nd half of games).

And yes, Cox IS garbage. Tech showed it in his first start last year, and UGA proved it again today. He just lobs balls up there, and dares the opposing team to catch it.

USA Today Article

I want to get this out there and I don't want to waste space making a new thread but I feel it should be noted. Today is the last game for Jimmy Terwilliger, one of the best NCAA quarterbacks of all time. Doubtful anyone heard of him but he plays for D2 East Stroudsburg. He is one of only 3 players in NCAA history to get over 15,000 total yards in his career, Timmy Chang and Steve McNair are ht other ones.

He finished today against Kutztown, my university.

Um, the intended receiver on that Henne interception was getting mugged there. No call?

Whatever.

Wow, that is the only time I've EVER seen a delay of game called right away when the clock hits zero. Usually the offense gets a free second or two, and it always pisses me off. Great job by that back ref.

If Arkansas wins out including the SECCG, what kind of chances will they have? I can see less deserving 1 loss teams ahead of them.
