rwperu34 - noone outside of Eugene would feel sorry for Oregon this year. Also i think they're gonna lose the Civil War game.

Eric - USC winning out is pretty unlikely, asking if 1-loss Arkansas makes the title game isn't exactly LOL-worthy

Angus - a 1-loss USC team has a better resume than a 1-loss Cal team would.

Rutgers losing to WVa, leaving three one-loss teams in the Big East? More fun.

This is like a Week 14 game yah?

What makes you think the SEC will automatically get 2 bids? There are plenty of 1-loss teams that have a shot at at-large bids, such as Wisconsin, Louisville, and WVU.

Wisconsin has no shot since the Michigan/Ohio State loser will be the other Big 10 team.

A few posts earlier, I mentioned the five teams that have a shot for one of the three remaining spots. It's the runners up from the SEC, Pac 10, Big East, plus Notre Dame and Boise State. Even if Notre Dame beats USC and Boise State gets in automaticlly, which there is a very good shot for both, I think the SEC gets a second team. That means the Pac 10 gets screwed royally, and the Big East gets kinda screwed.

But you said a 1-loss Arkansas team should be above a 1-loss Cal team. Address the point that Cal's resume would include a win over the team that soundly beat Arkansas.

Wow, a 10 point turnaround in the UF vs USC game. Siler looks terrible on the field, how good is that freshman that backs him up?

The transitive property is not strong in College Football.

Spurrier winning in Gainesville today would knock another strong team out of contention and be a big boon to Cal and Arkansas in their hunt.
